Question:
A lady relative of mine got married and the boy left Pakistan after spending few months with her. Its been 8 months now and the girl has spent most of her time at her parent's house. The girl asked for divorce and the husband agreed on it but he has been delaying signing the divorce documents that were sent to him abroad. My question is how long does the girl has to spend in iddat considering they had intimacy more than 8 months ago?
ایک رشتہ دار لڑکی کی شادی ہوئی اور لڑکا کچھ مہینے گزار کے باہر چلا گیا جسے آٹھ ماہ سے زیادہ ہو گئے ہیں۔ اس دوران لڑکی نے زیادہ وقت میکے گزارا۔ لڑکی نے طلاق کا مطالبہ کیا جس پر لڑکا راضی ہے اور اسے دستخط کیلئے بیرون ملک کاغذات بھجوائے ہیں ، اگرچہ وہ طلاق پہ راضی ہے مگر آج کل آج کل پر بات ٹال دیتا ہے۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ لڑکی کو کتنا عرصہ عدت گزارنی ہوگی جبکہ انکی تنہائی کو آٹھ ماہ سے زیادہ عرصہ ہو گیا؟
