Question:
I calculate zakat every 1st of Ramadan and in the calculation, I do not include the amount that I allocate for home expenses and charity that I do for the benefit of my elders. Is this correct?
ہر سال یکم رمضان کو زکات کا حساب کرتا ہوں ، اس سلسلے میں گھر کا خرچ اور نفلی صدقہ کی رقم جو اپنے بزرگوں کی فاتحہ دلانے پہ خرچ کرتا ہوں ، مِنہا کرنے کے بعد زکات کا حساب کرتا ہوں۔ کیا ایسا کرنا صحیح ہے؟
