Question:
In one of your previous lectures, you mentioned that Sayyidina Umar رضى الله عنه nominated Sayyidina Suhaib رضى الله عنه to lead his funeral prayer (نماز جنازہ) in his will, as he was one of the first مظلومین oppressed of Islam. Wasn't he already appointed as the Imam of Masjid Nabawi صلي الله عليه و سلم at that time, making him the rightful person to lead funeral prayer nonetheless?
