6046 > I am a religious scholar with an upcoming marriage. Sayyidina Rasul-e-Akram صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم mentioned a hadith about spouses committing adultery near the Day of Judgment. Can I discuss this hadith with my future wife to ensure our marital relationship remains free from any wrongful thoughts and advise her to maintain her modesty, while I also adhere to these guidelines? If this is valid, what are the appropriate boundaries for such discussions? میں عالم دین ہوں اور شادی قریب ہے ، اور حضور اقدس صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ قرب قیامت میں میاں اور بیوی زنا کریں گے ، تو کیا میں اپنی غیرت کی بنا پر اہلیہ کو یہ حدیث سناوں کہ وہ ازدواجی تعلقات قائم کرنے کے دوران غیر محرم کے تصور سے بچے ، اور اہلیہ کو نگاہ کی حفاظت کی تلقین کر سکتا ہوں جبکہ میں خود بھی ان ساری چیزوں سے بچتا ہوں۔ اگر یہ درست ہے تو کس حد تک؟

5867 > Nikah was done for a child that had not reached puberty and the wali of the child guaranteed payment of mehar. She said that there is a hadith which shows that Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi WaSallam) used to marry people upon teaching surahs of the Quran. In light of this, should I marry her? میں اسلام آباد میں رہتا ہوں اور ٹیوشن پڑھاتا ہوں ، میری ایک سٹوڈنٹ ہے جس کو میں نے اسلامک سٹڈیز پڑھائی ہے اور دس سے زیادہ قرآن مجید کی سورتیں اور تفسیر بھی پڑھائی ہے۔ اس نے مجھ سے کہا کہ وہ شادی کرنا چاہتی ہے اور میں نے کہا کہ میرے پاس اتنا پیسہ نہیں ہے۔ اس نے مجھے لاکر حدیث دکھائی کہ سیدنا رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قرآن کریم کی سورتیں سکھانے پر نکاح کر دیا کرتے تھے۔ تو اس نے کہا کہ آپ نے تو مجھے دس سورتیں سکھائی ہیں تو شادی کر لیتے ہیں۔ تو کیا قرآن مجید سکھانے پر میں شادی کر لوں؟
5853 > You greatly value the Ijma of Ummah in your Fatawa and lectures, however, in one of your lectures you assumed that the history of Mughals may have had some evidence due to which they married hindu women. While in another talk, you gave us an example of bad Nafs where the Muslim is willing to fall for lust and whims to marry a non-Muslim. How do you justify this contradiction? آپ ہمیشہ امت کے اجماع پر بات فرماتے ہیں پر مغلوں کا ہندو عورتوں سے شادیاں کرنے پر فرمایا کہ ہو سکتا ہے انکے پاس کوئی دلیل ہو ، جبکہ دوسری جگہ فرمایا کہ مسلمان ہوس کا شکار ہو کر غیر مسلم عورتوں سے شادی کرتا ہے ، تو ان باتوں میں تضاد کیوں؟
5846 > What is the easiest method to conduct a Nikah and is there a possibility to conduct it without a witness? نئی نسل کدھر جا رہی ہے ، دو ہی صورتیں ہو سکتی ہیں ، خدا کا واسطہ ہے اسکی فکر کریں ، یا تو مرتد ہو جائیں یا نکاح میں گواہ کی شرط نہ لگائی جائے ، نکاح پڑھانے کا آسان طریقہ بتا دیں؟

5752 > Why doesn't Allah Ta'ala help those people from the ghaib who have to take loans to marry their daughters? اللہ تعالی مشکلات کو حل کرنے والا ہے ، کار ساز ہے ، تو اللہ غیب سے مدد کیوں نہیں ان لوگوں کی کرتے جن کو بچی کی شادی کی خاطر مال کیلئے لوگوں سے قرض لینا پڑتا ہے؟
5703 > You mentioned that Shariah ordains us to pay an amount equivalent to the value of four Rati and four Masha gold to the person who solemnizes the marriage. Do we have to calculate this amount according to the current value of the gold or the value at the time of the Nikah? I paid twenty five thousand rupees as Nikah fees for my daughter's marriage, would that suffice? نکاح خوان کو نکاح پڑھانے پر چار رتی اور چار ماشہ سونے کی مالیت کی رقم جو ادا کرنی ہے ، جو انکا حق بنتا ہے ، کیا اسکا حساب آج کے سونے کی رقم کے مطابق ہوگا یا جب نکاح ہوا تھا؟ بیٹی کے نکاح پر پچیس ہزار نکاح کی فیس ادا کی تھی تو کیا وہ حق ادا ہوگیا؟
5659 > I had an illicit relations with a divorced woman. One day, when I finished from this haram act my health deterioated and I got tawfeeq for taubah. I committed to not return to her without nikah. Even though I was already married but I married her too. Recently, I visited Haramain Shareefain and repented from this sin. Should I meet her now or not? طلاق یافتہ خاتون کے ساتھ غیر ازدواجی تعلقات تھے ، ایک دن اس عمل سے فارغ ہوا تو صحت بہت خراب ہو گئی اور توبہ کی توفیق ہوئی ، اور پھر بغیر نکاح کے یہ تہیّہ کیا کہ ان کے پاس نہیں جانا ، پھر نکاح کر لیا اور پہلے سے شادی شدہ ہوں۔ اب اللہ کے گھر اور روضہ رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہو کے آیا ہوں اور اپنے اس گناہ سے معافی مانگی ہے۔ اب ملنا چاہیے یا نہیں؟
5628 > If a woman doesn't allow her husband to establish intimacy without any valid excuse, can the husband focefully establish relation? اگر عورت اپنے شوہر کو بغیر کسی شرعی عذر کے تعلق قائم نہ کرنے دے تو کیا وہ زبردستی کر سکتا ہے؟
5620 > When Sayyidina Shoaib عليه السّلام offered a Nikah proposal to Sayyidina Musa عليه السّلام that if he works for 10 years, Sayyidina Shoaib will marry his daughter to him, did Sayyidina Shoaib عليه السّلام consult with his daughter first? Is it still possible to pay Haq Mehr as a form of labor in our time or was it only a custom of that time? حضرت موسی علیہ السلام اور حضرت شعیب علیہ السلام کے واقعے میں جو حضرت شعیب علیہ السلام نے نکاح کی تجویز حضرت موسی علیہ السلام کے سامنے رکھی تو کیا پہلے اپنی بیٹی سے اس معاملے میں مشورہ کیا تھا؟ اور کیا اب بھی یہ ہو سکتا ہے کہ کسی کام کے بدلے میں بیٹی کا نکاح بطور اجرت طے کیا جائے ، کیا یہ حق مہر تھا یا کام کی اجرت تھی؟ حق مہر کی ایسی صورت کیا صرف پہلی امتوں میں جائز تھی؟

5508 > Two families have an extreme dispute over a Nikah, so much so, that whenever they meet each other at a tribal judiciary for a decision they come with guns and pistols. Please, give guidance in this matter. دو خاندانوں میں سخت قسم کا اختلاف ہے اور ایک بچی کے نکاح کا معاملہ ہے۔ اختلاف ایسا ہے کہ قتل و موت تک بات پہنچ سکتی ہے اور جرگے میں پستول و بندوق ساتھ رکھ کر جاتے ہیں۔ اس مسئلہ میں رہنمائی فرما دیں۔
5466 > A person had an illegitimate daughter when he was young. He got married later on and sent that lady & her daughter far away. After a long time when he came to the country, he found that daughter attractive and now he wants to marry her. He says he can't think of any reason why that would be not allowed? ایک آدمی نے ایسی ویسی حرکت کی اور اس سے بیٹی پیدا ہوئی۔ اس بندے نے ملک واپس آکر باقاعدہ اس عورت سے شادی کرلی اور اس کی بیٹی کو کہیں چھوڑ آیا۔ یہ آغاز اس کی جوانی کا واقعہ ہے۔ اب وہ گیا تو اسے اپنی بیٹی پسند آگئی اور کہتا ہے کہ اس لڑکی سے میں شادی کرنا چاہتا ہوں اور عقل میں تو آتا ہے کہ اسکی کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں ہونی چاہیے؟
4468 > Being liberal-minded, I simply cannot comprehend the laws of Hurmat e Musaharah. How is it that my wife becomes unlawful on me as a consequence of my father's act? لبرل سوچ کے حامل شخص کا سوال ہے کہ مجھے حرمتِ مصاہرت کا قانون سمجھ میں نہیں آتا ، یہ کیا منطق ہے کہ میرے والد سے کوئی کام سرزد ہو اور مجھ پر میری بیوی حرام ہو جائے؟
4457 > Fow how long can a Nikah between husband and wife survive without intimacy? What is the Islamic ruling if any of the partners refuse to have sex? کتنے عرصے تک شوہر اور بیوی میں جنسی تعلق نہ رہے تو نکاح ٹوٹ جائے گا؟ بیوی اور شوہر دونوں میں سے کوئی منع کر دے تو کیا کیا جائے؟
4425 > Wife left her husband because of her own stubbornness and egoistic behavior. Now husband doesn't want to forgive her but he is compelled to bring her back. He is planning to keep the limits and be just with her and doesn't want to give her any favours, is this correct in the eyes of Shariah? بیوی اپنی انا ضد غرور اور غصے کی وجہ سے حد درجے کے اقدام کر گئی ہو ، واپس بلانے کو دل نہیں کر رہا۔ خاوند جیسے پہلے بیوی سے رہا اور بہت لاڈ پیار میں رکھا اب مجبوری کی وجہ سے لانا پڑتا ہے اور بیوی کی غلطی نہیں بھول سکتا۔ تو سوال یہ ہے کہ خاوند یہ سوچتا ہے کہ میں بیوی کو لاونگا اور صحیح حد پر رکھوں گا ، نمبر دو کیا کوئی سختی کی حد متعین کی جا سکتی ہے ، ایسا ہو کہ بس عدل ہو جائے اور احسان نہ ہو؟

4276 > What is the ruling of a person who had touched his daughter with sexual intentions? اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیٹی کو جنسی خواہش کے ساتھ ہاتھ لگا دے تو اسکا کیا حکم ہے؟
4260 > When witnesses go to bride to ask her permission about Nikah, they make jokes with her, sprinkle water on her or play musical chair with her. Are these traditions correct? نکاح کے وقت گواہ جب دلہن کے پاس پوچھنے جاتے ہیں تو دلہن کے ساتھ مذاق کیا جاتا ہے ، پانی پھینکا جاتا ہے یا میوزیکل چیئر کھیلی جاتی ہے ، کیا یہ سب درست ہے؟
4259 > It is a norm in our locality that parents of the bride demand for extra four lakh rupees on top of the original Haq Mehr which was set between two parties during proposal. Is this correct in the eyes of Shariah? 4237 > Whenever people talk about not getting married, they give an example of Saiyyidina Eesa عليه السّلام to back their claim as he lead an unmarried life. In reply, the opposition presents the hadith "Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me" to back their stance. Which is the correct way? شادی اور نکاح نہ کرنے کے بارے میں بہت سے لوگ بزرگانِ دین بلکہ سیدنا عیسی عليه السّلام کا کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے بھی زندگی ایسی گزاری تھی۔ اس سلسلے میں حدیث پیش کی جاتی ہے کہ نکاح میری سنت ہے اور وہ مجھ سے نہیں ہے جو نکاح نہ کرے ، اور یہ الفاظ آخری حد تک لے جاتے ہیں۔ اسکی وضاحت فرما دیں؟

Dowry is indeed an abominable thing but didn't Saiyyidina Rasul-e-Akram صلي الله عليه و سلم give it to Hazrat Fatima رضى الله عنها? بیٹی کی شادی پر میں جہیز دینا چاہتا ہوں۔ بیٹی کہتی ہے کہ ضرورت نہیں اور سسرال والے کہتے ہیں کہ آپ کی مرضی ہماری کوئی فرمائش نہیں۔ لیکن یہ بات سچ ہے کہ جہیز ایک لعنت ہے ، کیا سیدنا رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سیدہ فاطمہ رضى الله عنها کو بطور جہیز کچھ نہیں دیا تھا؟

Is financial status important and must for marriage in our day & time? حضور اقدس صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی بیٹیوں کی شادی کرتے ہوئے کیا کیا اہم چیزیں سمجھاتے تھے اور آجکل کیا انتخاب کیا جائے؟ شادی کے معاملے میں مالی حیثیت کو آجکل ضروری سمجھتے ہیں کیا یہ درست ہے؟

Does she have to observe any type of iddat before making Nikah? خاتون بغیر نکاح کے کسی سے تعلق کی وجہ سے امید سے ہیں۔ تو کیا وہ نکاح کر سکتی ہے؟ کیا اسے نکاح سے پہلے کوئی عدت گزارنی ہوگی؟

If so, can they sell it and use the money earned as they please? صاحبزادی انتقال فرما گئیں تو والدین کی طرف سے دیا گیا جہیز واپس لیا جا سکتا ہے یا نہیں؟ کیا لیکر اسے بیچا جا سکتا ہے اور اس سلسلے میں ملنے والی رقم کو اپنی مرضی سے استعمال میں لا سکتے ہیں یا نہیں؟
2840 > Before Rukhsati, a guy got intimate with a bride who was asleep and unconscious. Now, is it okay for her to get married to her first husband? عورت سو رہی تھی اور بیہوش تھی ، نکا ح ک ے بعد کسی ن ے اس سے تعلق قائم کر لیا ، تو کیا اب اسکا اپن ے پہل ے شوہر س ے نکاح ہوسکتا ہے؟
2839 > After a legal divorce, a lady got married again but before her Rukhsati she was divorced. She then got married for the third time and after a few months of marriage she got divorced again. Now, can she get married to anyone of her ex-husbands? ایک خاتون کو طلاق ہوگئی اور پہل ے شوہر س ے طلاق ک ے بعد دوسری شادی کی اور پھر بغیر رخصتی ک ے دوسر ے شوہر س ے طلاق ہوگئی۔ پھر تیسری جگہ نکاح ہوا اور رخصتی ک ے کچھ مہینوں ک ے بعد تیسر ے شوہر ن ے طلاق د ے دی۔ تو کیا اب وہ پہل ے دو شوہروں میں س ے کسی سے نکاح کر سکتی ہے؟
2771 > In western countries, it is illegal to have two wives at the same time. If a husband divorces his wife on papers without the intention of actually giving Talaq to her, registers the divorce as per the country's law just to marry a non-muslim woman as his second wife, will it actually constitute Talaq on his first wife? It is also worth mentioning that he didn't say Talaq to his first wife verbally. مغربی ممالک میں دو شادیوں کی اجازت نہیں ہے۔ اگر شوہر اپنی پہلی بیوی کو کاغذات میں طلاق دے دے جو اُسنے اس ملک کے قانون کے مطابق رجسٹرڈ کروائی تھی اور ابھی وہ پہلی شادی کے رجسٹریشن ختم کروا کے دوسری کرلے اگرچہ اسکی طلاق دینے کی نیت نہ ہو ، حتی کہ شوہر نے زبان سے طلاق والے الفاظ نہیں کہے مگر وہ ا س لیے طلاق دے رہا ہے کہ وہ دوسری شادی کرلے۔ اور دوسری شادی سے کسی غیر مسلم عورت سے کر رہا ہے۔ کیا ایسے میں طلاق ہو جاتی ہے؟ِ
2761 > My cousin (ماموں زاد بھائی) is younger than me in age and he is also my foster brother, ie., we were breastfed by the same woman. Is it permissible for me to marry his younger sister? میں اور میرے ماموں زاد دودھ شریک بھائی ہیں۔ کیا میرا نکاح ماموں زاد کی چھوٹی بہن کے ساتھ ہو سکتا ہے؟ میرے ماموں زاد مجھ سے عمر میں چھوٹے بھی ہیں۔
2734 > In our days, how much amount should be set for Haq-Mehr? Is it better to give it in form of cash, or jewelry, or any other gift of equivalent value? آج کل کے زمانے میں مہر کی رقم کتنی ہونی چاہیے؟ مثال کے طور پر اتنی رقم جو ایک یا دو ماہ کی کمائی ہو یا اس سے بھی زیادہ نقد دینا بہتر ہے ، یا ایسا تحفہ دینا بہتر ہے جس میں مہر کی تے شدہ رقم سے کچھ زائد ہو جائے مثلاً کوئی زیور یا کوئی اور تحفہ دے دیا جائے؟
2720 > Just wanted to let you know that in your last Friday Q&A session #471 (dated 20 Nov 2020), you mentioned 200 arab Rupees for the wedding which was actually 2 arab Rupees. ایک صاحب نے کہا ہے کہ شادی پہ دو سو عرب نہیں بلکہ دو عرب خرچ ہوئے تھے ۔

Is this doable? خاتون نے اپنے شوہر سے بذریعہ عدالت خلع لے لیا جبکہ شوہر جیل میں تھا۔ عدالت نے فیصلے میں لکھا کہ طلاق مؤثر ہوگی جبکہ شوہر عورت کو حق مہر ادا کریگا۔ پانچ سال بعد جب شوہر رہائی کے بعد گھر آیا تو وہ اپنی بیوی کو واپس آباد کرنا چاہتا ہے اور عورت بھی جانا چاہتی ہے۔ تو کیا انکی طلاق ہوئی ہے یا نہیں؟ِ

2372 > My wife was in an illicit relationship with someone for quite sometime. Now, I came to know that my kids DNA do not match mine. 2347 > You mentioned once that it is Haram for a person to make Nikah, if he is not able to take care of his wife and her required needs. Wouldn't this be against Taqdeer? Since, Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Noor verse 32: إن يكونوا فقرآء يغنهم الله من فضله (translation: If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His grace) 2- آپ نے ایک دفعہ فرمایا تھا کہ ایسے شخص کے اوپر نکاح کرنا حرام ہے جو اپنی بیوی کی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے پر قادر نہ ہو، کیا یہ چیز تقدیر پر یقین نہ کرنا نہیں ہے، کیونکہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالی نے سورہ النور آیت نمبر 32 میں فرمایا ہے وَ اَنۡکِحُوا الۡاَیَامٰی مِنۡکُمۡ وَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ مِنۡ عِبَادِکُمۡ وَ اِمَآئِکُمۡ ؕ اِنۡ یَّکُوۡنُوۡا فُقَرَآءَ یُغۡنِہِمُ اللّٰہُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۳۲﴾ ترجمہ: تم میں سے جن (مردوں یا عورتوں) کا اس وقت نکاح نہ ہو، ان کا بھی نکاح کراؤ، اور تمہارے غلاموں اور باندیوں میں سے جو نکاح کے قابل ہوں، ان کا بھی۔ اگر وہ تنگ دست ہوں تو اللہ اپنے فضل سے انہیں بےنیاز کردے گا۔ اور اللہ بہت وسعت والا ہے، سب کچھ جانتا ہے۔ (آسان ترجمۂ قرآن مفتی محمد تقی عثمانی)*

He said that even if a person has a doubt in these aspects, it would still be Makrooh-e-Tahreemi to get married. Is this correct? مفتی اکمل صاحب نے کیو ٹی وی پر فتویٰ دیا ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص شادی کے بعد اپنی فیملی کو نان و نفقہ نہ دے سکتا ہو یا غصہ کا اتنا تیز ہو کہ اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے دینے کا ڈر ہو تو ایسے شخص کے لئے نکاح کرنا جائز نہیں ہے۔ حتّٰی کہ اگر ان معاملات میں پڑ جانے کا شک بھی ہو، تو بھی نکاح کرنا مکروہ تحریمی ہوگا۔ کیا یہ بات صحیح ہے؟
